Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sr. System Game designer to join our family at Ozobot. The right candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, and mission-driven (like us). The System designer will collaborate with other team members in designing the in-game economies as well as systems for both progression and retention for new and veteran players alike.


  • Assist in defining the Evo universe meta-game and its economy
  • Design progression mechanics with player engagement and retention in mind
  • Champion and drive implementation of all systems
  • Maintain a vibrant economy and progression system post launch.
  • Analyze game data and construct plan to address callouts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Passion for creating a connected (App+toy) robot experience.
  • Shipped at least 2 games as a Lead or Sr. Systems designer
  • Knowledgeable concerning different player “play-styles”, and motivations.
  • Clear understanding and appreciation of schedules and milestones
  • Experience in analytics and data driven design
  • Effective oral and written communications

  • Technical background
  • Social/ community game design
  • Mobile game micro-transaction experience
